Project- Individual
Age 8-14
The projects shown demonstrate a long-standing engagement with design from a young age. These creatures were initially created to encourage imaginative and enjoyable play, and over time the process evolved into a means of developing and refining my skills. Each creature explores a different emphasis, reflecting a growing focus on form, function, and character.
The creatures were made using leftover cereal boxes. Each was constructed around a central strip of cardboard acting as a spine for structural support, with rib-like elements extending from the sides to define form. This method allowed the creatures ample freedom to move and articulate while remaining strong and stable.
