What will AI be like in 10, 20, or even 100 years? It’s difficult to know, especially when we can’t fully sit down and examine the inner workings of its outputs. This short six-week project, part of a discursive design module run in collaboration with Google, set out to use design as a prompt for discussion.
AI’s power comes from the vast amounts of information it is trained on, yet this same reliance on data can lead to biases and distortions that are hard to detect. My project explored how these parameters could be pushed and tested across specific sites, making the underlying issues more tangible and visible.
